Roanne Lillico
Truly understanding another can take a lifetime, and even then, in ways, it’s impossible. We are all incredibly unique expressions of consciousness, yet we share a common source.
Born in Saskatoon with a creative spirit and a deep affinity for spirituality, my journey has been anything but linear. I've faced battles with addiction, endured abusive relationships, and navigated profound personal losses. But my story isn’t just about hardship, it's about transformation, healing, and embracing creativity as a source of empowerment and peace.
Walking the path of the witch, I’ve learned that our greatest pain can transform into our brightest power. Authenticity is the key to liberation, and sometimes we must revisit lessons until we ascend to new levels of being—and that’s okay. We need not fear our darkness, but sit and love ourselves there. Our bodies, the earth, and wisdom of the soul holds the medicine we seek.
As a multi-faceted artist—dancer, painter, curator, designer, poetess, and founder of Dollhaus, I channel spirit and infuse creativity to heal myself and the feminine collective consciousness. My mission is to connect deeply with myself and serve my community through art. Holding a Studio Arts degree from MacEwan University and pursuing a BFA in Arts and Cultural Management, I continue to evolve, honour my story, and inspire others to embrace theirs.
Awards: Gary McGowan Arts & Culture Award through Grant MacEwan University
